Yes. IntrudEye is free to download and use. There are no hidden fees, no paywalls on core features, and no subscription required. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but core security will always be free.
No. IntrudEye does not collect, store, or share your personal data. We do not integrate third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising tools. All captured photos, logs, and location data remain entirely under your control on your device.
IntrudEye supports Android 8.0 (Oreo) and above, which covers over 95% of active Android devices. We optimize specifically for Android 10+ for the best experience.
IntrudEye requires four permissions, each used solely for security: Camera (intruder photo capture), Location (device tracking when enabled), Notifications (security alerts), and Device Administrator (failed unlock monitoring). No permission is used for any other purpose.
When an unauthorized access attempt is detected, IntrudEye captures a photo using the front camera, records the GPS location, and immediately sends you a detailed alert via Telegram and/or Email. The alert includes the intruder photo, timestamp, device name, location coordinates, and a link to view the location on a map.
Key security-critical components of IntrudEye are open source and available for independent audit. We are committed to transparency and will continue expanding open-source availability over time.
