Privacy Policy for Avraan IntrudEye

Last Updated: September 8, 2026

Your security photos stay on your device. IntrudEye operates using on-device processing. Captured intruder photos and security records are stored on your device and are not stored in Firebase Storage or on Avraan servers. They leave your device only when needed for an alert you configure (such as Telegram or email).

IntrudEye helps protect your device against unauthorized access and theft. If someone attempts to unlock your device without permission or moves it while Pocket Guard is active, IntrudEye captures evidence and generates alerts. This Privacy Policy explains what information the application processes, where that information is stored, and how it is transmitted.

Security Alert & Photo Data Flow

This diagram outlines how security alerts and captured photos move when alert features are used:

📱 Your Phone ➔ 🛡️ IntrudEye (Local Storage) ➔ ✉️ Your Telegram / Email (Optional)
✕ Not Transmitted To: Avraan Cloud Photo Storage or any Public Web Dashboard

Avraan does not operate a cloud photo-storage server or act as an intermediary storage repository for captured intruder photos.

What IntrudEye Does Not Do

IntrudEye operates within the following limitations:

  • No Cloud Photo Backup: IntrudEye does not provide cloud photo backup or store captured photos on Avraan servers.
  • No Public Photo Dashboard: IntrudEye does not provide a public web dashboard for viewing captured photos.
  • No Selling Personal Information: IntrudEye does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
  • No Advertising or Tracking: IntrudEye does not integrate third-party advertising networks, marketing trackers, or commercial advertising identifiers.
  • No Access to Personal SMS: IntrudEye does not read, collect, or monitor personal text messages or SMS inboxes.
  • No SMS Alert System: The current version of IntrudEye does not request SMS permissions or send outbound SMS alerts.
  • No Access to Contacts: IntrudEye does not read or collect device address books or contact lists.
  • No Call Recording or Call Logs: IntrudEye does not record phone calls or inspect call logs.
  • No Browsing History Access: IntrudEye cannot access browser histories, bookmarks, or search queries.

Information Processed by IntrudEye

IntrudEye processes only the information necessary to provide authentication, device security, and user-configured alerts:

  • Authentication: Firebase Authentication manages user login and assigns a unique user identifier (UID) for session management.
  • Local Security Records: Intruder photos, timestamps of failed unlock attempts, and security incident logs are stored locally in the application's private directory on your device.
  • Sensor Readings (Pocket Guard): Built-in device sensor data is analyzed locally in real time to detect theft motion. Raw sensor streams are processed only on the device and are not transmitted externally.
  • Security Alert Information (Optional): When alert features are enabled, security event data (such as the captured photo, timestamp, and location coordinates) is transmitted directly from the device to the user's configured destination.

Camera Permission & Photo Handling

IntrudEye requests Camera permission to capture an intruder snapshot when a failed unlock attempt or an unauthorized motion event (Pocket Guard) is detected.

  • Local Storage: Captured photos are saved directly into the application's private local storage on your device.
  • No Cloud Storage: Photos are not stored in Firebase Storage and are not uploaded to Avraan cloud servers. Avraan does not maintain a remote gallery or cross-device photo sync.
  • External Transmission: A captured photo leaves your device only when you have enabled and configured Telegram or email alerts. In that case, the photo is dispatched directly from your device to your selected destination.

Telegram & Email Alerts

Telegram and email alerts are optional. When enabled, the app sends the relevant alert information and captured photo directly from the device to your configured destination.

  • Direct Transmission: Alerts are transmitted directly from your device.
  • No Avraan Server Storage: Avraan does not store the alert or photo on its own servers.
  • Third-Party Handling: Avraan does not operate or control your Telegram account or email inbox. Once delivered, alert messages and photos are retained according to Telegram's or your email provider's standard data policies.

If you choose not to configure or enable external alerts, captured photos and security logs remain solely within your local device storage.

Location Permission

IntrudEye requests location permission to determine the approximate or precise location of the device when a security event occurs, aiding in device recovery. Access while the app is in the background is required because unauthorized unlock attempts can occur while the screen is locked.

When configured, location coordinates and a map link may be included in the alert sent to your Telegram chat or email address. Avraan does not conduct continuous location tracking and does not store a location history on its servers.

Firebase Services

IntrudEye uses select Google Firebase infrastructure services:

  • Firebase Authentication: Authenticates user accounts and generates a unique user identifier (UID) for session management.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash logs and diagnostic data to help identify and resolve software defects.

Firebase is not used to store intruder photos, security incident records, or location logs.

Device Administrator Permission

IntrudEye uses Android Device Administrator capabilities to monitor lockscreen attempts and detect failed password, PIN, or pattern entries.

  • Change user passwords
  • Erase device data
  • Access personal files, messages, or contacts

You can revoke Device Administrator permission at any time through Android Settings.

Data Retention & Deletion

Data retention is handled according to where information is stored:

  • On-Device Records: Intruder photos and security logs are stored locally on your device. You can remove these records within the application, by clearing app storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
  • Transmitted Alerts: Copies of alerts sent to your Telegram account or email address remain in your personal messaging history or email inbox and are governed by the retention policies of those providers.
  • Account Inquiries: For questions or requests regarding your Firebase Authentication account, you can contact us at avraan.co@gmail.com.
